Please note that (if you don't know yet) you're supposed to wear lolita skirts at your high waist so measure the smallest part of your waist.
Also, you will get a matching accessory for free with every skirt. I only have the bows for the bunny skirt now because there were leftover fabrics but I will make for the other ones too if anyone interested in buying.

btw mikami_teru, you're going to have a photoshoot with Amy right? I've been talking to her and she told me about that so I might come along. If that's the case then we can meet before the con.

My waist's 70cm so the first skirt should be the best. Very nice skirts though :D

I'm waiting for butterscotch's (amy) reply for the next photoshoot, hopefully soon enough. Wow, if you can come along, we will be delighted to meet you on that day :D

So you want to take the first skirt then? If you want I can bring it with me when we meet, probably even better than me bringing it to the con because I will staff there this year.

I've met Amy before once already. She has my number so yeah we'll see.

Hmm... hold on to that skirt. I want to buy it, but at the moment I have a bad feeling that I need to spend on something important :smith: Hope you understand. I really love the skirt! I'll PM you once that bad feeling disappears ^_^;; apologies. I might change my mind quickly, so don't worry. I still want that skirt.

Ah, you met Amy already? Good to hear :) Can't wait to meet you on that day :3 What day you work as eirtakon staff this year? Both days (Sat or Sun)? Or one?

Well you see I'd rather sell it to some local lolita (I think everyone prefers doing so, especially when you're a friend of a friend) than selling it online but you have to let me know that you definitely want it so I can keep it for you otherwise I'm going to put it up on sale.
I also prefer to sell it to local lolita because I want to spread lolita fashion in Ireland ^^

Yes I'm doing both days and will participate in the fashion show also.
I've met her at Eirtakon Feb 2007. We only realized that after we found the pics we took together haha

I agree on local lolita way. I'm not so keen at online shopping. I just find it less safe, no matter how affordable the dresses are!
Aah, so that's how you met Amy :D

It's true. I can't help it because I'm a serial online shopping addict XD but I get really pissed off whenever the package goes missing or the seller turned out to be a scammer ugh~

Yeah I was different back then with pink hair and everything. I wasn't dressed in lolita but more Visual kei so maybe people at Eirtakon won't recognise me this time anymore XD

Ooo ouch scammer... thats why I'm afraid to online shopping, although register for 3V is safe and all.

I am not a fan of visual kei but the style's are absolutely elegant and dark, hence beautiful. I'm on the feminine side I guess (lolita dresses).

If you want to reply more, I think it's better to PM. Kinda afraid the mods won't allow chatroom-style replies in a thread.

I was into lolita for 5 years now but didn't start wearing/buying until 2 years ago which was about half a year after that con. Then I realized that this style is so me! And everyone else seems to think so too so I kinda stopped dressing VK even though I still miss it sometimes. I wear it whenever I don't dress lolita.

Oh and just want to show some other lolita/kodona related things I've made but I can't sell these yet because those were some of the first garment I've made for school projects and need them for the upcoming fashion show. But after the show I will sell them :3

Sorry to intrude in the conversation here, but I just wanna say hi and I'm also into lolita fashion, have been for maybe 5 years. I was in japan this summer and totally raided closet child, it was awesome. I'm more into classic/not OTT sweet...emily temple cute, btssb, alice and the pirates.... hopefully I'll be coming to eirtakon or if there's any other egl events before that I would love it :)
ps. Makomako, I think i saw one of your posts ages ago on one of the lj comms, with the moite skirt, didn't know you were in ireland! how cool. I don't really post on lj, just lurk.

haha yay someone from Ireland that ACTUALLY knows the names of the brands! XD *kudos for you*
You've been into lolita about as long as me ^_^

Where about are you in Ireland? I'm starting to get into classic myself. I think classic will be the next big thing after OTT sweet. At the moment I'm trying out different styles because I'm bored but I think in the end I will always be egl.

If you have a livejournal, feel free to add me! I'm mostly active on there and post a lot of pics and stuff. Just let me know who you are :3
It's always nice to find lolita in Ireland because it is so rare!

Yup I know all the brands :P. Ordering online is SO expensive though. And the complicated process kinda put me off. Do you speak Japanese? I only know the very basics. Buying through the sales com is probably the best thing. I ordered a jsk from meta a few years back but it turned out kinda massive on me. I have sewn some stuff too, but I'm more into sewing non-loli stuff :). I'm in dublin.
I think OTT sweet looks amazing but it's not very practical. I wear casual loli most days and i still feel a little weird walking around dublin or in college!
My lj is quite inactive now and full of emo crap from my teenage years :P Are you going to Eirtakon?

Yeah buying online can be annoying but it's my main source for getting lolita clothings. I often buy second hand stuff 'cause they're cheaper but if there's something I really like (usually Moitie) I wouldn't mind buying it brand new (providing that I had enough money that is)
Yes I will help as a staff for this year both saturday and sunday. If you see a girl wearing Moitie and platform shoes then that's me! \m/

I like classic Lolita too and EGL. I am not into the OTT Lolita as I prefer more simple outfits and elegance. You said you are on LJ, I am just wondering were you a member of Liquorice's (An old member here and a Lolita) LJ Irish Lolita group 'Eirelolita'? That was a nice small group, AFAIK it is dead which is a pity.

I know a few girls who would be big into Lolita and know brand names =) haha Oddly enough I also know them from working on Eirtakon and cause of my girlfriend and friends ^^

Be cautious with buying lolita off ebay especially where it's custom made but there is a good few places on ebay where you can get dresses that are set sized brand name dresses and some are very reasonable. I saw a BTSSB dress that was selling for just 80euro which is fantastic as normally they sell at 200euro. Was tempted to get it for my girlfriend but I is tight on monies and already bought her some Bodyline dresses for her christmas present ^^ Well they had a sale on so bought early haha

Is that you Nate? If so then hi! XD

Your gf is so lucky to have you buy dresses for her. Most bf's wouldn't even understand the expensive and strange lolita hobby, nevermind buying
My bf actually doesn't mind me wearing lolita but complains that I shop way too much especially online which is true because my closet is literally exploding o_O" I have to throw stuff on the floor now XD Anyone wanna buy my stufffff? :sweatdrop:

I think that anyone who is genuinely into proper lolita fashion should get at least a few brand pieces because they're worth the money. I was one of those girls that compained that brands were too expensive and not worth the money but look at me now, I can't stop buying brands. It's too addicting! And they have way better resale values too! :awesome:
