What: Eirtakumeet
What? : Eirtaku members get together for a laugh and general shite-talking. Meeting at the spire, going for food in a japanese restaurant, then for beers and back to nadirs for drunken anime-watching mania. This isn't solely an alcohol-driven event, the night will be spent watching either hilarious, or well-aged anime. Ideally, with robots and ninjas both.

When: Saturday, October 18th, 1830. (Meeting 1600 to bring booze to nadir's)

I'm 23, *EDIT I am not 23, I'm much much older* and the 'old-skool' contingent is around that age. Anyone with a hint of maturity is welcome, but this isn't an event for children. Still, don't get scared away if you're 17.

"I'm standing at the Spire, but I can't tell you weirdos from normal people!!" ; Jesus, you must be blind. Or can't smell. PM an organiser, and convince them to send you their mobile number (it really helps if you have one number in case you're late). Hint: Do that today, not on the day.

This is not a Cosplay meet If someone would like to organise one of them that's all well and good. Organise it, set up a thread in this forum and see who signs up. While all of us are Otaku, i know for a fact not one person has Cosplayed to any of the previous Eirtakumeets and since this seems to be more an Eirtakufood/Eirtakubeers meet, well it'll be at a normal pub/restaraunt making Cosplay...well, rather out of place.
Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Greatest selection of Anime series and AMV's to see you through the night...........Just too much to list.

sounds fun, but although i was not out of place at the picnic, with loads of ppl my age, i do belive that eritakumeets will be diffrent in terms of atendees
